The low down....It is a sexy comedy of errors about a very modern family. The Allgoods are a close family experiencing life’s typical ups and downs: 18-year old daughter Joni (Wasikowska) is heading off to Stanford University and starting to distance herself from her parents; 14-year-old Laser is hanging out with a deadbeat friend who constantly leads him into trouble. The only difference is that this family has two mums...Jules (Julianne Moore) and Nic (Annette Bening) who had both children through artificial insemination.

This loving but strained home life is thrown into comic disarray when the kids track down their biological donor-Dad, Paul (Ruffalo), and invite him home for dinner. Then the drama really begins...

CONGRATULATIONS to Russ Lester from DIXON RIDGE FARMS (Supplier of our fabulous Organic Walnuts)

Winner of NRDC’s Growing Green Awards 2010 – FOOD PRODUCER

NRDC awards honour farmers, business leaders & promoters of sustainable food

FOOD PRODUCER

Russ Lester
Dixon Ridge Farms / Winters, CA

Co-owner of Dixon Ridge Farms, the largest handler of organic walnuts in the U.S., Russ Lester has dramatically reduced environmental impacts from the orchard to the final stages of processing, with the goal of becoming 100% self-sufficient by 2012. Dixon Ridge walnuts are grown without harmful chemicals, amid carefully selected cover crops and irrigation systems that minimize the need for tillage and reduce global warming pollution. Lester converts walnut shells into energy, reducing waste and creating electricity to be used in other stages of walnut processing.
