Manuka honey comes packaged with antibacterial activity measurement labelled on the jar. In this case it is MGO 60+. These numbers can be confusing, because there are different measurement systems in use!
MGO (or methylglyoxal) is a globally recognised measure of antibacterial activity. Berringa uses this proven measurement methodology to grade and verify the actual MGO activity levels for each batch using independent testing at NATA accredited laboratories.
UMF (unique manuka factor) is another system of measurement for antibacterial activity. While most countries use MGO as the standard measurement, UMF is usually associated with some Manuka honey products from New Zealand.
Not suitable for infants under 12 months

Use on toast, on cereals, with fruit, in drinks – wherever and whenever you would use a table honey.
