These chocolate rice crackles are like the traditional kids treat, but made with healthy ingredients and are low fructose. Great little snacks for their school lunch boxes.
Melt coconut oil and brown rice syrup over a low heat in a medium heat. Remove from the heat and add cacao or cocoa, mix to combine.
Add in puffed rice and chia seeds, stir until well combined.
Spoon the mixture evenly into lined muffin trays.
Freeze until set. Store in the freezer or fridge in an airtight container.
