Our new Organic Miso Powder - Red has so many delicious uses! One of our favourite ways to use this umami powder is as a popcorn sprinkle!
DESCRIPTION
Heat the oils in a saucepan on medium high heat.
Once the oil is hot enough (test by placing a few kernels and check if they start to pop), add popcorn kernels in an even layer.
Cover saucepan with lid. Popping will begin. Every 5-10 seconds gently shake the saucepan back and forth until popping slows to a few seconds between pops.
Remove from heat then remove lid. Immediately transfer to a heat safe bowl.
Add Miso Powder and Toasted Sesame oil. Toss to coat.
Transfer to serving bowl and add chopped green onion and sprinkle more Organic Miso Powder.
