WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO MAKE YOUR OWN POPCORN:
- 1/2 cup Organic Popcorn Kernels
- 1 tbsp Organic Olive Oil or Organic Coconut Oil
1. To start, add the oil to a large saucepan or soup pot (make sure it has a lid or you could be in trouble!). Add 3 kernels corn, cover and place over medium-high heat.
2. When the three kernels pop, add the remaining ½ cup kernels (this lets you know that the oil is hot enough)
3. Cover the pot and swirl to coat the kernels with oil. Shake the pan constantly to ensure all the corn pops and it doesn't burn. Remember to use oven gloves to protect your hands from any heat.
4. Continue cooking until the popping slows to less than one pop in 4 seconds. Remove from the heat and you are ready to add your flavours!

CINNAMON, NUTMEG & VANILLA POPCORN
This sweet and fragrant popcorn is flavoured with organic cinnamon and nutmeg with and a pinch of vanilla powder. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup organic popcorn kernels
- 1 tbsp organic coconut oil
- 1 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon powder
- 3/4 tsp organic nutmeg powder
- Pinch of organic vanilla powder
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
Method
1. Add freshly popped popcorn to a large bowl.
2. In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and shake to evenly coat.
3. Add salt and the remaining cinnamon and nutmeg. Gentle shake to distribute evenly. Enjoy!
TURMERIC SPICED POPCORN
Spice up your popcorn with this delicious and healthy flavour mix, featuring organic turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, coriander, and chilli. The perfect snack for anyone looking to add a little heat to their day!
Ingredients:
- 2-3 tsp organic turmeric
- 1 tsp organic ground cumin
- 1 tsp organic cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp organic ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp organic chilli
- 2 tsp celtic sea salt
- 2 tbsp organic raw honey
Method:
1. Combine the spices in a small bowl. Sprinkle over freshly popped, hot popcorn and stir or shake to combine.
2. Drizzle honey on top right before serving. Enjoy!
MISO POWDER POPCORN
Our Organic Miso Powder - Red has so many delicious uses! One of our favourite ways to use this umami powder is as a popcorn sprinkle!
Ingredients:
- 50g Popcorn Kernels
- 2 tbsp Carwari Organic Extra Virgin Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
- (Seasoning)
- 1-2 tbsp Carwari Organic Miso Powder Red
- 1/2 tbsp Carwari Organic Toasted Sesame Oil
- *You can also substitute sesame oil with Olive Oil or Ghee
Method:
- Heat the oils in a saucepan on medium high heat.
- Once the oil is hot enough (test by placing a few kernels and check if they start to pop), add popcorn kernels in an even layer.
- Cover saucepan with lid. Popping will begin. Every 5-10 seconds gently shake the saucepan back and forth until popping slows to a few seconds between pops.
- Remove from heat then remove lid. Immediately transfer to a heat safe bowl.
- Add Miso Powder and Toasted Sesame oil. Toss to coat.
- Transfer to serving bowl and add chopped green onion and sprinkle more Organic Miso Powder.
VEGAN 'CHEESY' POPCORN
This vegan take on classic cheesy popcorn is made with nutritional yeast flakes, Celtic sea salt, and optional chilli flakes for a savoury and flavorful treat. Perfect for vegans or anyone looking to cut back on dairy.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- Generous pinch of fine Celtic sea salt
- 1/4 cup organic popcorn kernels
Method:
1.Sprinkle freshly popped, hot popcorn with nutritional yeast and salt. Cover, and give it a good shake to combine.
MAPLE & CINNAMON POPCORN
This sweet and spicy flavour mix combines organic butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and optional Celtic sea salt for a delicious and satisfying snack. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while getting in some healthy fats!
Ingredients:
- 50g organic butter
- 2 tbsp organic maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp organic ginger powder
- Pinch organic nutmeg powder
- Pinch of Celtic sea salt (Optional)
Method:
1. While the popcorn is popping, in a separate saucepan melt the butter over a medium heat until it flecks golden. Add the maple syrup and spices, and swirl to mix.
2. Tip the popped corn into this buttery mix with a (optional) pinch of salt, cover with a lid and give it a good shake.
SEA SALT & DARK CHOCOLATE POPCORN
This indulgent popcorn mix features organic popcorn, shredded coconut, almonds, pumpkin seeds, Celtic sea salt, and organic dark chocolate drops. A perfect blend of salty and sweet!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup organic popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup organic shredded coconut
- 1 cup of insecticide free almonds
- 1 cup of organic pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 tsp of Celtic sea salt
- 140g organic dark chocolate drops
Method:
1. While the popcorn is popping, toast the nuts, seeds and coconut in a dry pan for a couple minutes. Transfer them to a large mixing bowl and add the popcorn. Sprinkle over the salt.
2. Line a tray with baking paper. Using a double broiler, melt the chocolate while stirring constantly. When the chocolate has completely melted, pour it over the popcorn mixture and stir it to coat evenly.
3. Pour the mixture out onto the parchment lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly. Place it in the fridge for about 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden. Enjoy!
SALTED CARAMEL POPCORN
This decadent treat combines organic maple syrup, coconut cream, coconut oil, butter, coconut sugar, and Celtic sea salt to create a rich and delicious caramel sauce. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup organic maple syrup
- 1/3 cup organic coconut cream
- 2 tbsp organic coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp organic vanilla powder
- 1 tbsp organic butter
- 1 tbsp organic coconut sugar
- 1/4 tsp Celtic sea salt
- 1/3 cup organic popcorn kernels
Method:
1. For the caramel sauce: add all ingredients except the popcorn into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and simmer for 25 minutes.
2. Once caramel is done simmering, stir consistently for 5 additional minutes, allowing caramel to thicken. Pour caramel in a jar or cup and set aside to cool slightly.
3. Pour caramel sauce over top of freshly popped popcorn and stir everything together with a large spoon or spatula. Eat immediately or leave the caramel to cool and harden. Enjoy!
ALMOND & VANILLA POPCORN
This unique flavour mix combines organic popcorn with a creamy and flavourful sauce made from coconut oil, Medjool dates, vanilla extract, insecticide-free almonds, and water. Perfect for those looking for a healthy and satisfying snack!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup organic popcorn kernels
- 2 tbsp organic coconut oil
- 2 organic medjool dates
- 1 tsp organic vanilla powder
- 1 tbsp insecticide free almonds
- 1 tbsp water
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
2. In a food processor, combine the coconut oil, dates, vanilla powder, almonds, and water. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
3. Pop popcorn using your desired method.
4. In a large bowl, combine the popcorn with the sauce. Transfer to a tray and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. The popcorn is done when all the pieces are no longer soggy.
5. Cool on a wire rack, then store in an air-tight container.
MATCHA & DARK CHOCOLATE POPCORN
This flavour mix features organic popcorn coated with a delicious mixture of dark chocolate drops, coconut oil, matcha powder, cinnamon, and Celtic sea salt. Perfect for those who love the combination of chocolate and matcha!
Ingredients:
- 80g organic dark chocolate drops
- 1 tbsp organic coconut oil
- 1 tbsp organic matcha powder
- 1 tsp Celtic sea salt
- 1 tsp organic cinnamon powder
- 1/2 organic popcorn kernels
Method:
1. Prepare the popcorn as directed above.
2. Combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan, and melt over low heat, stirring constantly.
3. Sprinkle the matcha powder over the popcorn and stir until the popcorn is well-coated.
4. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn and sprinkle over the cinnamon & salt. Eat immediately or chill in the fridge for 10 minutes to let the chocolate set.
COCONUT CURRY POPCORN
This flavourful popcorn mix features toasted coconut flakes, organic coconut oil, curry powder, ginger powder, and popcorn kernels. Perfect for anyone looking for a savoury and healthy snack option!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup organic coconut flakes, toasted
- 1 tbsp organic coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp organic curry powder
- 2 tsp organic ginger powder
- 1/2 cup organic popcorn kernels
Method:
1. While hot and freshly popped, add the coconut flakes, coconut oil, curry powder, and ginger powder to the popcorn in a container with a lid. Cover and shake vigorously until popcorn is well coated (10-15sec).
2. Serve immediately and enjoy!
VEGAN HERB & CHEESE POPCORN
This delicious vegan popcorn mix features a blend of herbs and spices including oregano, dill, thyme, chilli flakes, and nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavour without the dairy. Perfect for anyone looking for a satisfying and healthy snack
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp safflower oil
- 1 tbsp organic dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp organic dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp organic chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup organic popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- Fine Celtic sea salt (optional)
Method:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a small pan over medium heat. Once it starts to shimmer, sprinkle in the oregano, dill, thyme and chilli flakes, then turn off the heat so the herbs and can infuse the oil for at least 15 minutes.
2. In a separate pot, pop the popcorn, while it is still warm, drizzle the oil mixture over it and shake to coat the popcorn.
3. Drizzle on the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil, sprinkle on the nutritional yeast, and shake again to combine. Taste, and add salt if needed.
SALT & VINEGAR POPCORN
This tangy popcorn mix features a simple blend of organic vinegar and fine Celtic sea salt for a delicious and refreshing snack. For extra crunch, put under the grill for 5 minutes!
Ingredients:
- 2½ tbsp organic vinegar (apple cider, balsamic or white)
- Sprinkle of fine Celtic sea salt
Method:
1. Add ingredients while popcorn is still hot and stir to combine.
2. For extra crunch put under the grill for 5 minutes
HONEY BUTTER POPCORN
This sweet and simple flavour mix features organic butter, raw honey, and Celtic sea salt for a delicious and indulgent snack. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while getting in some healthy fats!
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp organic butter
- 2 tbsp organic raw honey
- Celtic sea salt to taste
Method:
1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in honey until well mixed. Remove from the heat.
2. Pour the honey butter mixture over fresh popcorn, and mix until evenly coated. Give it a taste then add salt to taste.
