Bi-Carb Soda is an alkali raising agent. It produces carbon dioxide which expands in a mixture and turns into air in your baked goods. This creates a light and airy texture. Pharmaceutical and food grade.
Not to be confused with baking powder (which includes cream of tartar). Does not include any additives; and does not contain aluminium.
