Storage: To mantain freshness and avoid fermentation, we recommend storing this product in the fridge.
HOW TO USE
They make the perfect sweet but healthy snack or on a cheese board. They are delicious chopped up into a cereal mix or in baking, particularly fruit cakes and muesli bars.
A white sugar coating appears on figs over time as a natural result of storage. It is harmless and does not affect fruit quality. It is completely edible but can be washed off in warm water if preferred.
Storage: As this is a preservative-free, raw product, higher temperatures can cause the moisture and the sugar in the fruit to react (starting the fermentation process) so we recommend refrigeration.

They are simply picked, dried, pressed into a flat disc shape and packaged. This packaging process is known as Lerida.
