This organic coconut cream, with a fat content of 18%, is made from certified organic coconuts from Sri Lanka where the conditions are perfect and coconuts delicious. The organic coconut flesh is pressed to extract the cream, then processed (homogenised and sterilised) using ultra-high temperature (UHT) and packed into an aseptic bag in box ready to use. No thickeners, stabilisers or additives are added.
This coconut cream is different to our coconut cream in the BPA free can. It is homogenised to create a smooth, thick cream perfect for making coconut yoghurt or ice-cream.
NB: The bag does not have a tap and needs to be cut open for use. Once open, store in the refrigerator and use within 2 days.
HOW TO USE
Coconut cream is ideal to create the creamy flavour of Asian cooking as well as curries, soups, casseroles, drinks and desserts. This coconut cream should be stored in the fridge.
