Organic sunflower oil is extracted from the seeds of the sunflower plant. Organic sunflower oil is light in colour and taste and has excellent stability without hydrogenation. It can be used in baking and cooking or as a spray coating oil for cereal and dried fruit.
Our organic sunflower oil is very high in oleic (monounsaturated) acids. Sunflower oils are classed as high oleic when they contain more than 80% oleic acid. A diet rich in high-oleic-acid sunflower oil has been positively associated with lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides.

HOW TO USE
Our organic sunflower oil is expeller pressed, meaning that the oil is squeezed directly from sunflower seeds by crushing them in an expeller press. This method, also known as “cold pressing” is done under low temperature and without the use of chemicals so for is it is the preferred method of processing!
