GROWING & PROCESSING
The grains used to make General Wholefoods Pasta are grown in Australia and ASP Certified Sustainable.
After harvesting, the grains are traditionally stoneground to retain their naturally occurring nutrients. The flour is then mixed with a wild-fermented sourdough culture and filtered water. The dough undergoes a long fermentation before being shaped and slowly dried to create pasta with a firm texture and full flavour.
INGREDIENTS
Certified sustainable stoneground Khorasan flour (wheat), certified sustainable Durum wheat flour, wild fermented sourdough starter (fermented wheat flour, water).
