This chocolate banana bread is rich, fudgy and just the right amount of sweet. I’ve added a scoop of Honest to Goodness Peptide Collagen for a little extra protein boost (and glowy skin)!! This is perfect for an afternoon snack or warmed up with a cup of tea
INGREDIENTS
200g all purpose flour
50g cocoa powder
1 tsp Honest To Goodness Baking Powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp Honest To Goodness Collagen Peptide Powder
1 tbsp Honest to Goodness Marine Collagen Peptide Powder
2 large ripe bananas, mashed (about 250g~)
2 large eggs
50g white sugar
65ml neutral oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
70g Greek yoghurt
120ml whole milk
150g Honest to Goodness Chocolate Drops
DESCRIPTION
Preheat oven to 180C and line a loaf tin.
In a large bowl add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and collagen powder. Stir to combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, bananas, sugar, oil, vanilla, yoghurt, and milk. Pour the wet mix into the dry and fold together until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour into the loaf tin and spread evenly. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.Remove from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 5 minutes before placing on a cooling rack to finish cooling. Slice up and enjoy
